No, residents with an existing accommodation contract are not eligible to be considered as replacements for other rooms. As they already have an active contract, they cannot be nominated for alternative room assignments.
If a student with an active contract wishes to change their accommodation to a different room type or building within University-owned accommodation, they must first terminate their current contract. After termination, they will need to apply for accommodation and join the waitlist. We will contact them with an offer if their preferred room becomes available and they are next on the waitlist.
